Must-Have Things for Overlanding Trips
When going out on a road trip for a couple of days, what will you take with you? Do you have a burner or a grill? What's like a blow-up mattress? Are you a sleep-in-your-seat person, or do you want to ride a mini motorhome with a transfer case so that you can move to a queen bed? And what kind of terrain are you going through? These are the questions that you will ask yourself as you construct your overland rig. You certainly don't need a class VI 4×4 camper for a night with the boys around the campfire. And if your version of overlanding means a day out in a picnic area, then your money may be better spent on a bumper table than on a rooftop tent. So while it's nice to get prepared for something, there's a clear line between too much and too little, so it's better to sit down on the line.
